Erik's Plans

Erik has decided to go to Whatcom Community College in Washington state in the fall.

He's been getting honor roll grades for the past three terms but still needs to make up some math. He wants to attend Western Washington University in Bellingham in a year or two and eventually become an economist.

Okay... I just want to brag (Erik would roll his eyes here) that Erik got super high SAT scores. His school counselor just about choked when we saw him last week. HEE HEE.

Belgium in October

We're moving to BELGIUM!!!

Thom was just told (this still isn't an official notification) that the "job is his" in Belgium and they want him this OCTOBER.

He will be working as the station commander for the Armed Forces Network at SHAPE Belgium at the U.S. Army Garrison Benelux.

We are both really excited about this assignment - Thom because he will enjoy the job and me because I want to see Europe (and for the kids to see Europe) and visit Norway again.

Got to learn some French!
