We arrived super tired (got up at 4 a.m.) and pretty starved. Then we picked up our rental car and white-knuckled it driving on the left side of the road. I'm telling you - it was dicey at times. We are so hard-wired now in our driving habits... but Thom prevailed! We are alive!
Breakfast at a roadside mart improved our spirits immensely and we were off to explore the Irish countryside. First stop, Trim, Ireland to look at some castle ruins from the 1100s. They filmed Braveheart here too - way cool and a beautiful day for the usually misty/rainy Dublin area. Sweet.
